Sarnia, Ontario PA Event??

I heard a rumor this week that the Sarnia, Ontario CL group is having a contest early in the season. Anyone know details or can confirm this?? Perhaps TigerST?

Most of the SE Michigan guys can get there withing an hour and 1/2 or so and they really have a nice flying park if the wind isnt strong.

This would be news to me,...but I'm always the last to know anything. Our loose band of c/l riff raff (5 to 7 members at any given time) are actually thinking of heading east to the Toronto area to join the Balsa Beavers in some comp. action. It's a bit of a haul to T.O., about 3.5 hours or so, ..but we may make it this year. 12 hour rotating shifts plays havoc for me to try and get anywhere to fly, ..that and keeping a plane together long enough . But, to my knowledge we are not putting on any P.A. comp at the Bluewater Bridge flying site.

Other items somewhat related: I could also be corrected on this one; Canadian Scale Model Championships this year in Tillsonburg, ..this includes c/l scale.

We (the riff raff) will be resuming our normal flight schedule this summer, ..Wed. nights, Sunday afternoons. Me? I'm gonna get out as often as I can outside our normal group flying,...if I've got a plane to fly. Your welcome to join in, ..standing invite.

This is new to me. Did not even know there was a flying site in Sarnia. Would welcome the chance to fly in another country (last time was Korea). Please send any info you get my way. There are a few guys in this area that would be more than happy to cross the bridge.....

That would be closer for you John than most. Perhaps flying in the AM and Sailing in the PM?

Several of us here in SE Michigan are planning on a couple of trips to the Toronto events the summer if we can get schedules together. I'll let you know.
