1. A side-by-side comparison of current bylaws with those proposed by the president.
2. An analysis of the proposals and their effect on PAMPA written by Leonard Neumann, a man with no small amount of experience in this area.
3. A cover letter signed by one hundred five members of PAMPA, asking that you not take our word for this proposal being wrong but urging you to examine the Brodak bylaws rewrite and decide for yourself.
I noted some speculation on another forum regarding who paid for this mailing. I'd like to clear that up. This mailing, like the one at the end of January, was paid for in its entirety by concerned PAMPA members. They footed the bill for paper and envelopes, copying and postage. Each district had at least one volunteer who took the time and effort and invested the personal funds necessary to see that all PAMPA members have an opportunity to look at the bylaws we have now and compare them to those being proposed. Mailing lists were obtained from the Secretary/Treasurer, properly paid for as required. If anyone would like, I'll be happy to post the section of my current VISA bill which shows a charge for the District 7 mailing list. We play by the rules.
On that other forum was also a post referring to this letter as "hate-filled." Since I composed the letter, I'd be grateful if Mr. Just would point out which section of the letter was hate-filled so that I may adjust my thinking to make sure it doesn't happen again, should further communications with the general membership be necessary.
Accurate information is now in the hands of PAMPA members.
I wonder where their ballots are.
