OS LA back plate

Does anyone know if the Tower Hobbies back plate for their .40 will fit on an OS LA and replace the plastic one that I have already broken? At $2.99 would be a good option.

I've heard that the tower 40 backplate does indeed work for the LA's. I believe it was Leonard that mentioned this in a previous post.

Yup, it do. And they ship for free, also.

As for Doug's question, some will break in crashes. Some will have the bolts dig in and they come loose. the aluminum replacement is much better. Just watch that you don't over tighten the screws.

How did I break the back plate? Had a small oops and it busted off the remote needle valve, which is a part of the backplate and far enough in to break around the screw ......... it was easy!
