Need 3-Views

Guys, especially scale types,

I'm looking for 3-views and any other information I can find on an airplane called FlyCycle. It was a low wing open cockpit singleplace craft, constant cord with tip plates, rounded tail feathers and the most unique part was a control yoke that looked like or even could have been bicycle handlebars. I don't know if it was commercially produced or homebuilt but probably the latter. Can anybody help me out?

Have you checked out with the National Association of Scale Aeromodelers (NASA). They have a web site at: http://www.scaleaero.com/amascale.htm

I also have a catalog from Bob Banka that has thousands of three-views and picture packages I can look at.

There was a scale model of an airplane called the FlyCycle in the April 1955 issue of Flying Models. I am at work now, but will check to see if I have that issue when I get home.

Bill, I have the '55 Flying Models, it's just a plan. I need dimensioned 3-views and photos of and example would be a real plus.

Try contacting the National Air and Space Museum archives department in Washington D.C. They accept requests for pictures, 3 views etc. via e-mail. It takes them a few weeks to get to your project but they are helpful. Be very specific about what you are asking for. Do not just tell them to send you everything they have on a particular design. You may end up with a semi trailer full of stuff delivered to your home if it is a subject for which they have lots of material. If your materials are reasonably sized, they don't even charge you for the shipping. They are after all financed by a rich uncle.
