I just returned from a trip to Seattle, Washington where my sister in law had some female surgury. While there I called Steve Helmick and he invited me over and then we visited Jerry Day. What a great visit with these two gents. Next night I get an e-mail from Howard Rush and he invited me over. What a site his basement is-- 500 countem- 500 combat wings!! Oh and one absolutely beautiful Impact. Next day I visited my old friend Bob Parker and saw his four Impacts, got a set of plans, and now I am cutting balsa in the morning. Bob just got out of the hospital the day after my sister in law. I also visited two hospitals and had an emergency visit to the dentist to replace a cap. Super dentist and crew. Except for the constant rain and snow, it was a great visit and I really enjoyed the club meeting with the Sky-Raiders. The rumor about Seattle is true, there is a coffee shop on every corner! My wife wants to move to Seattle or Tucson. I am torn. Ha. They make the Southern Hospitality tame by comparison. Again gents, thanks for the visits and allowing me to bend your ears. Ty Marcucci
