What A DAY!!!

In Portland Oregon TODAY IT was one of the best days to fly, that I wish we could BOTTLE it and open at ones whim. Right now on my DECK 62 Degrees, light winds sse, high sky, and 15 flights by noon. WHAT more can anyone ask for. I hope that your winter is going this well! Have a good holliday and see everyone at the APRIL contest the third weekend in APRIL OTS and CLASSIC on SAT,PA on SUNDAY. It was 70 degrees with no wind and not a cloud in the sky down in East Texas. Perfect!!!! Winter time IS THE FLYING SEASON here. Last august- 105 degrees in the shade. You try and fly in 100+ with 90 percent hummidity!!! Summertime is my building season. See ya.

How about 16 flights before noon! It'll at least 4 months before I see that kind of weather here in Iowa. Enjoy it. Now back to the shop to work on my Bucaneer 740 for next year. At least I'll have plenty of building time. Though I'd trade a lot of it for flying time! Take care,

Well, it was 38 in SE Minnesota today, warm enough to melt most of the early snow. By George, we love snow and ice and fog and rain and more snow and more snow......
