Seems like everytime I read, or type, the letters "NVA" I get a creepy feeling and my mind goes back about 40 years. Do the letters have the same effect on anyone else? Glen

I no longer get any creepy feelings, but I do flashback when I see those letters.

Most definitely yes! Every time I see those three letters,
my mind immediately goes back to Vietnam. Amazing.
I'm glad it isn't just me.

After working LRRP's with the 75th Rangers, YES INDEED! Nothing brings back the memories of your 6 man squad bumping into a Battalion of bad guys like the letters NVA. It may have been over 30 some years ago but those of us that saw action will never forget!

As a UH-1H Huey crewchief/door gunner during the 1967 battle for Hill 875 near Dakto, I got an up close and personal introduction to the North Vietnamese Army. Those are not pleasant memories. Would much prefer to remember flying a $5.95 McCoy .35 powered Ringmaster in the '60s.

In retrospect, the NVA, Viet Cong, and Khumar Rouge were reasonable gentlemen, compared to our current enemy.

They returned most of the POW's and MIA's in decent condition. I don't remember any televised beheadings or vest bombs in buses and wedding receptions.

My supply of ST NVA's is running low.
Perhaps we could get some ChiCom copies soon?
