I thought I'd share some pictures of the Sweet Sweep Prototype

Ok here's the prototype, weighing in at 12 1/2 ounces as you see it.

the tank is a Brodak BH-596 Deep Wedge, it's actually a 3 oz. tank and measures 1 3/8 high X 2 wide x 2 1/4 long.

I swiped the tank off my wife's plane so this one was a used tank.

Thank You and God Bless

I share Gil's thought. I am very glad that Walter is back in the kit business and am waiting way too anxiously for the first Colussus to come off the line. WhooHoo!

Looking at the pictures of the center section build-up reminds me of the story from Richard Stubblefield about when his dad quit building combat planes for the kids. It was when Richard, Larry, and Lanny Stubblefield and James Robison went to an Austin contest and totally destroyed something like 10 SweetSweeps. Dad said from now on you build your own.

Walter,
The Pic's are great! Seeing that sequence reminds me how difficult is was to build one of these things straight without the accuracy of laser cutting. I'm really looking forward to building mine.
Thanks,

PS: I destroyed several of these myself in one day and nobody ever built my planes for me, so...I started building simpler airframes, mostly Quicker/Whatizit.
