Biceps

I'm considering building a Biceps. Who has built one, how good a pattern can it fly and how much did it weigh.

I'm pretty sure John Jolley has one. He sold me a copy of the plans, and I've got a boxful of Fox .59s just waiting. I intend to set it up with 3-line speed control for demos. Target weight is around 50 oz., and I plan to use Tom Morris' New Milleneum wing construction.

The BiCeps is on my long list of airplanes to build. I have never seen one fly, but I have heard that it is very respectable.

I have the plans and article if you need them.

I have the plans but not the article could you scan and email a copy? Im still lookin fot the fox 59 for it.

I have built and flown one in 1989. St .60 or equvalent 13" prop.

Make sure to use an incidnece meter on the wings. Tanks Hanger laser cut a kit for me this year If you give them a call they would do so for you . Get the original plans from the magazine . Mine was 64oz and flew realtively well.You must have lots of power and a big prop as bipes have lots of drag. If you want to scratch build one I have the templates already done and would be more than willing to lend them out . Walter Hicks
