Calling for your help on this original ad for the PDQ product. Uncle Mikey might be helpful. Can anybody give their opion on what the colors were in this ad? Also anybody have that FC decal or a copy?

The wing panels were white, the fuselage was blue, the wing tips and the center of the stab were blue, the tips of the stab are red, there's red striping between the blue fuselage and white wing panels and red striping between the blue wing tips and the white wing panels.

#3 sourceSure glad you knew, Walt. Frankly, I didn't have a clue. Never saw Kania's original or the PDQ kit photo model. Local club guys (Hi-Way Glo-Bugs, Haddonfield, c.1950-55) usually finished theirs in red & yellow with black stripes between the colors.

I built this very kit about 1968 and flew my first inverted laps with it. Enya 19 for power. Mine was light and dark blue with the paint scheme shown on the box. No landing gear, it was hand launched. I flew the heck out of that plane. Eventually learned most of the pattern on it. Fond memories.
