#6 sourceThis plane is a redesign of the plane I build a year ago; Rambuncious. Multiple changes including dumping the foam flying surfaces in favor of built up structure, a bunch of changes to the fuse layout and structure (to make it lighter) and some cosmetic changes. 620 square inches. Current projected weight is, in fact, about 48oz. Power (as of today anyway) is an OS40VF on pipe, though I may decide to go to something else. The plane will be equiped with a removable engine mount system that will allow me to put just about anything in there. It will have a carbon cowl (I think) but conventional landing gear this time.
I'll post something when it's further along. I hope to have the wing framed up by the end of the weekend and the whole thing together by next weekend. Maybe sooner, depending on how much time I get to work on the thing.
