Engine interchangability#0 source
Am I right in thinking that the OS FP 40 is a direct fit in mountings intended for the Brodak 40?

Are there any other engines that fit the same bearers?

Regards

Mike

The Brodak has a different snout length but it fits in the same bolt holes along with the LA 40-46, and the OS Max 35S which is very close in snout length.

Uhhm...R-M 40 Metamorph fits LA and FP holes. I also sell 40 and 46 LA with Rustler NVA and head machined to J. Dixon spec. (But you can do your own machining of course!).

Ian What are you doing putting a Rustler head on a LA ,40? Why would you put a Rustler .40 needle valve assenbly in a LA .40?

O.K., head machined to John Dixon spec, (lower comp. ratio) and Rustler NVA. The Rustler NVA because it's better. Described in past Stunt News, the Spike NVA configuration gives either approximately 5% more power for the same suck, or 5% more suck for the same power. A lot of people have trouble believing this, and insist on fitting conventional spraybar. No problem, - whatever turns you on!
