It's a .49...which makes it fairly rare, alright. But $2,650??? And the reserve hasn't even been met!!!

Chuck Bartunek, did you see this?

Too rare for my purse... I wonder if the winner will really pay up...

Winner won't have to pay up!!! Reserve was not met!! Even if the seller now decides to lower the reserve and meet the buyer's last bid, the buyer does not have to agree.

Might have been one of those trolling listings where a "market price" was trying to be established. Reseerve could have been so high that it would have never sold, but an idea of "value" can be gained from seeing how high the bids DO go.

What a long snoot. You really DON'T want an unbalanced prop with that engine..

That!! Heck I've got a drawer FULL of those... I cut 'em up and use them for jig parts.

Anybody's hair standing up yet?

Just kidding, I wouldn't mind finding a guy to give me $2K for each engine I've do have though.

Well this isn't a joke. I had one as a kid. Didn't know anything about motors then, other than it was to big for anything I flew at the time. Traded it straight across for a McCoy RH .19. Though I got the better end of the deal too.

You probably did make a good deal in that day and time. If you were happy with the deal than don't worry about it. There are people out there with more money than brains. --DOC Holliday

You're probably right. Just wish now that I had kept it. I wonder how much it was worth in 1982? That's about when I traded it.
