At the Huntersville contest, my big, strong, handsome wife asked me out of the blue, "Where do you put your left hand when you fly?"
After an awkward pause, I said, "I have no idea. Why do you ask?"
Wife: "Well the better flyers seem to tuck it in, maybe putting it over their heart, or something like that. I don't think that you do that." Now, I need to check my videos and see.
My wife is a great observer of all things, whether important or not, but now I am a little freaked out by that conversation. Where do you put your left hand (right hand obviously for lefties) when you fly? And why? Is it a conscience choice, or do you position it solely out of some innate reflex?
