#0 source When you get a brand new beret from "Ranger Joes" and the flash is not sown on, so you take it to the alteration shop and the Philipino guy there that runs the place sews your flash on, but doesnt sew the flash to the cardboard stiffener, saying the stiffener is too thick...
...You leave disheartened. "My beret is gonna look like doo if dont have it sewn on right" you say to yourself. What is a poor deployed soldier to do???
AH-HAH!!! They sell Krazy Glue at the PX! You run in and get it, hoping that it wont mess up your beret; Not because berets cost $20 a peice, but because it took "Ranger Joes" 6 weeks to fill your order and ship it to you.
Back in the room, you dab carefully. Press the flash against the stiffener...and TA-DA!!!!! Now youre ready to go home on leave IN STYLE...whenever that may be.
So for those of you who have problems sewing your flashes onto your stiffeners (????) Just a few dabs of CA and your good to go!
