Sterling F-94C Starfire

This are some of the pictures of my Sterling F-94C Starfire from a Larry Richards kit I bought a few years back. Very happy with the kit, wood selection,parts shape and Larry is a real nice fellow to deal with. This is the plane I`m using the OS.30S on. I`m a slow builder and work on it a little at a time thats why I can`t say when is going to be finished. I have been thinking about trying polyspan and SIG dopes. All the parts are not glued yet this is a dry run.

Wow! Now that is just how an airplane is supposed to look. That has to be one of the finest kit stunters I have ever seen! Imagine how good it will look going up vertically in a wingover.

I do not remember that one and I have never seen one before. I am surprised, considering how many Sterling kits I built. I think that looks like it will fly like nothing in this world. It reminds me of the Skyray, but this Sterling looks a heck of a lot better. Not too long, and I'll bet it will have ample power. Who is this Larry Richards person? Are these currently available?

Is the odd shape of the elevators scale or just styling?

www.richardskits.net As you can see, all hand cut the best wood avaiable, but this kit is no longer offered. A shame.

WOW, I am really impressed with this Larry fellow. It is no wonder this man's kits are all sold out. The prices are not much worse than you-know-whose and the designs he is kitting are fabulous. I think he has an excellent business model for this small field, too. If I had the money I would surely try to get some of those myself.
