That looks just super! Those graphics on the control surfaces are something else. Do they actually fade to white as they go outboard like it looks in the picture? It must have been difficult to achieve such an effect.

Floyd,

Indeed the graphics fade to white and the wing and fuselage treatment have two tone green that fades from dark to light. The cockpit has insturment panel and control levers. Joe is known for his creative and well done models. Several pilots choice awards and classic concours awards here in district 8.

That's Norm's daddy holding the syringe.

It will make its debut in Dallas this weekend.

Sure is pretty. Apart from the very slick classic lines, I really like the paint. Bet it looks just impressive as heck in the air.

Thanks to everyone for the good words. Its one of Tom Niebuhrs kits that I started last year and finally finished it Last week. Weighs 43oz. as you see it. Hasn't done the full pattern yet with only three flights on it but it feels pretty good so far. Hope to have it trimmed so I can fly on Saturday in the Dallas contest.

The paint is auto basecoat/clearcoat. The control surfaces were done using an airbrush. Gold under coat with green faded on top.

Steven, The secret to perfect stunt runs is color coordinated fuel.
