If I stated my birth date, there would be several posters who disagreed and at least one length post stating why my birth date works the way it does.

Yeah Floyd--- What are you trying to do??? Be different than the gang?? Some people think that I was born already a year old!!! I am NOT as old as dirt!!! I only managed to purchase a small amount of the original batch from the Silver Foxx.

Probably there would be one other post taking you to task about the type of clevises you use! (snicker)

Well, since I'm still 29, I use 2-56 clevises. 4-40s are for the older crowd ! I'm young enough to still believe the piles of balsa scrap in my garage are invinsible. By the way, my new theory of losing the Legacy is a "mini micro burst." Very small, but very strong. So strong, it stopped my arm from going "up" at the bottom of the loop. But the clevises are still attached!
I really think the fate of anything I build is a "mini micro burst" long before anything structural fails.
Just ask Elwyn about when he flew a plane of mine. A "mini micro burst" sucked the epoxy that was "supposed" to be on the bellcrank platform right out of the wing. Causing the bellcrank to separate from the plane, of course. Damn weather. Somehow, I still have extra epoxy here ....

To Jim Damerell. You will be pleased to know that my WILDMAN 60 CLPA model (I designed it in 1950) will be a featured construction article in MODEL AVIATION magazine. Bob Hunt has already accepted my plans and article, and has already sent me a very generous check! The plans need to be traced to M.A. standards, and I guess that takes some time and work for the M.A. staff.

I am amazed that this plane flies so well, since it is the product of a 16 year-old! I have already sent out many copies of my own plans.

If you use 2-56 clevis' be sure to use the plastic ones. They break quicker!

Wally. I didn't realize that DOB was a prerequisite on this group. So mine is 25 October, 1933. If you are thinking of an early b'day present, let me suggest a new PA61 with CF pipe. Do you need my mailing address?
