I've been trying to order something from SSW for two weeks now. Sent three seperate emails to the contact link and have not received a reply. Is there a problem I'm not aware of?

My mother died suddenly and we made a hasty trip to Iowa for the funeral. She was 92 and suffering from Alzheimers, so it was not a sad event. But I was out of touch for a little while.
Jim's engine is in the mail already (I was ready to ship it, and then the news of my Mother's death came up) and I will hope to get your other stuff out tomorrow.

This reminded me of a story where there were 2 very noisy and rowdy kids bothering everyone in a subway train while their father just sat idle by. A annoyed pessenger got up and asked the father if he can help with the kids.
The father replied, "I am very sorry. I just don't know what to do. Their mother just died in the hospital today."
We are frequently guilty in jumping to conclusions. This is a good reality check on our hobby.

One of my best friends died unexpectedly yesterday - brain haemorage - he was not a controlliner but a very good folk musician - there were four of us all 48 now who were planning to make our 50th birthdays special.
There are only three of us now.

I was sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother, Leonard. My Mother is also suffering from Alzheimers, and that is most difficult for the family that loves and cares for them, as you well know. You have my deepest sympathy, Leonard!
