There is hope for CL yet. In a LHS, I heard a guy say that he flew CL. He was an RC flyer, but didn't have much $$, and CL was cheaper. So he switched. Young guy, too...

He had a Coroplast (?) flying wing in his car, kind of like a Fifties Combat job, with about 45 degrees of offset on his Black Widow. He got the design off the Internet (I have seen it somewhere), and says it flies pretty good. He likes the fact that CL allows direct kinesthetic feedback (he didn't word it quite this way); RC is, well, too isolated and remote for him. He made his own stooge, and he flew in his back yard in what now is chilly Detroit weather (see the World Series game last night)?
Later, I put him into a Brodak Baby Clown kit. The LHS proprietor was happy with me, for once, I suppose.
