Yank Off" combat glow clips #0 source
Some years back, a couple of the folks on some of the CL forums agreed that they missed being able to use the old type clips. They aren't easy to come by, although I believe Schuette has the dark brown ones that Bearden carried, still.

Anyway, here are four, cheap still:

Actually, Magnum makes a rather nice clip that many of the guys used at the Bladder Grabber XXV. It is available from Hobby People, and is called "Glow Plug Clip with Cord", #237448, and of course, it causes cancer in California. They sell for $3.95, as I recall. Steve http://www.hobbypeople.net/

I use the Magnum one when I'm not using the nicad. It fits everything from .010 to 60's. Stopped using it on my Norvels though as the Revlite construction doesn't conduct. Melvin Schuette of MBS sells an Identical unit and had a whole tub full of them in Wichita.

Good point, Mr. Clean. If you are wondering if something is anodized, it doesn't conduct electricity, so you can check it with any conductivity tester, such as a volt-ohm meter set on ohms, SOP. Steve

Of course, the four in one deal had no cords, but the ones that are attached are almost always too darn short, anyway. And when that ad was mentioned, all four weren't yet up to the cost of even one new one, I don't think.

A moderately popular clips of this type that also sold in a mostly brown color plastic, had a copper "cup" on the anode end that DOESN'T "yank off" easily and correctly, unless that cup is either ground down quite shallow, or filled up almost to the top with melted (electronic type, of course) solder.
