Free Plane

I have a C/L stunter TAURUS (British by Coasby, about 1949). Set up for Orwick 64. Silk wings. No damage. Will offer to anyone who will pick up.

Hey Floyd; Wish I lived a little closer than the middle of Ks. I have a Taurus with a Fox 59 that I really like to fly. I have flown it with a Champion 63 and a Super Cyke both on spark. Great fun. They do take up space though with that 68" wing. Best Regards; Jim

What length lines do you blokes fly this design on?

With that long wing, I use 66.0' of 0.018 braided lines. With the long wing and cables on my handle, it is just short of 70' radius. The Orwick 64 on spark ignition is a powerful engine, and it is just about right.

The only Taurus I've ever seen was enormous. If I hitch-hike out maybe I can fly it home?

I am pleased to report the TAURUS has found a new home.

I am sorry to say that this plane is probably the last of many I will donate. The rest of my C/L planes have been shipped into storage in Oregon for later use.
