Stuka Stunt 35 FP on e-bay

I noticed one of my engines for sale (new in box) on e-bay, Item #542711357. No, I am not the one selling it, and, since I have enough engines to meet present orders but no more, it will be interesting to see where this one goes. If anyone is still interested in getting one, here could be your opportunity. Might be a bargain. Might not.

I have a NIB OS 35 FP w/RC carb and have been wondering what to do with it. I also have several FP 40's which are the same case. I haven't weighed the 35 but am guessing it might be just a tad heaver than the 40. I guess the question is what advantage is the 35 over the 40 (if any) and do I have any reason for keeping this engine..

You have absolutely no reason to keep that engine. You must sell it to me and do so now.

Actually, you are correct that the 35 weighs more than the 40. The sleeve on the 40 is thinner because of the larger bore, and they share the same case dimensions (inside as well as outside). The 35 works better than the 40 in the upright/inverted position. The 40 will give a little more power when modified the same and mounted sideways. I rework both, but have done far more 35's than any other engine.

I am now doing the TT .36 and TT 42, both of which work well either way. The TT 36 is ball bearing and costs a little more. It is 2 tenths of an ounce lighter than the 35 FP, however.

But, truthfully, if you are interested in parting with the 35 for a reasonable sum, I am always on the lookout for additional engines for stock. Or, if you would ever want me to rework it, we could do that, too.
