Post a rating!!!

Hay I like the POST a rating. It gives the reader the IDEA of how important a post is..... GREAT .........Keep up the good work and keep your lines tight..... SCOTT

How does this rating thing work anyway? What's being rated?

The rating system is to rate a particular thread. If someone posts a thread warning against spider wire, for instance, and you think it is important for everyone to read, then give it a 10. If you think people can skip the latest intrusion telling us how we can become rich quick, give it a 1 or a zero. Basically it is a system to help those who come in with limited time to cruise the sight and click on the important issues. Just look at the bottom of the original thread to see the scale of 1 to 10. (For instance, I would give your question a 9, but the rating system applys to the thread, itself, not to an individual question or posting.)

And if you suddenly find all of your postings getting ones, either you got somebody really "mad" at you, or the Krylon boys have found a way to get even for not allowing their stuff to get posted.

I just got thinking (bad start for the day), maybe we could start a joke forum and then you guys could rate all the jokes using the rating system. (Might have to add a few negative numbers to the ratings. I wonder how low we could go?)
