Need someone to build a plane?

I got a call today from Walter Umland, who is an excellent builder, and willing (for a fee) to build a plane for anyone who is unable or unwilling to build it for himself. Matthew has gotten a call several times from people who wanted to know if he would be willing to construct a plane for them. Matthew doesn't have the time, but at the time we didn't know of anyone whom we cold recommend. Since Walter told me of his availability, I thought I would pass this information on. He has a picture portfolio of planes that he has constructed for those who might be interested. My experience with Walter is that he does a nice job of assembling from a kit... the examples that I have seen had no wood substitution at all. He is a wonderful mono-coat applier.

Walter can build straight, and if you desire defferent hardware with a kit, and supply it, he will do a great job!

Walter called me a few weeks ago - he found me through PAMPA. He lives nearby and has for years and I never knew it. He came to visit and brought over his latest project - an Oriental. It was finished in monocoat and he did an excellent job. He spent time to get the details right. I recommend him.
