If you change your mind and don't mind scratch building
a model from Plans. Try this website.

MOst of the old wooden Combat jobs were pretty basic (save stuff like the Bosta and Super Satan) and not very hard to scratch build. You could always get the plans for a design you like and have one of the custom kit guys run off a kit or two for you if you don't want to cut them yourself.

When I think "old" Combat ships, I think Whatsit, Berkeley Interceptors, etc.

Currell: I started to make a comment about that I could give him links to some websites that deal with REAL old style combat; like the guys that do period re-enactments of The War of The Roses, English Civil War, etc., but I figured I'd better not...

Hi Blind, There is a guy making old combat repro kits, and they
are excellent. I'll have to wait till I go home to dig up his Email
address for you. He appears on ebay as "OLDCOMBATWINGS". He's
repro'd Long-Boom Voodoos, T-Squares and Omegas(I think). Anyway;
