Carbon Sample testing

Regarding the other thread on CF Veil, I have a light load tensile/ deflection tester sitting in my office.

I dont have access to the previous test articles and dont want to re-invent the wheel here, but I would be willing to test and document results for an article--with a little help in samp,e prep.

Any ideas regarding a test plan?

I could do computerized twisting and bending on comparitive samples.

I dont have access to a gram scale but I probably could arrange to get one.

Perhaps veil with dope or? compared to silkspan and dope

Or handlaid vs vacuum over solid with epoxy for weight and perfomance?

Ideas?

Any real value in doing this?

Hi, great idea! I have used carbon with alaphatic resin glue, and have noticed a big weight advantage, but have been curious if I have given up any sheer, flex or bond strength. No problems as of yet in my ships. (laminated fuse doublers with it)
