I just received my second Firecat from TCI Hobbies. For those that are unfamiliar with this it is a reproduction of the Jim Walker kit that was popular in the 50s and was made to compete against the ringmaster for that part of the market. I say second plane even though i still have my first one it was built when i returned to controlline and is probably heavier then it needs to be. Example covered with silkspun coverite, lots of dope and lustercoat paint,
If you have never seen one of these kits you are in for a real treat, it's laser cut and the wood is very good quality. On top of that it comes with Sullivan wheels, all cap screws< and not the cheap ones> fuel tank, glue both thick and thin C/A plus Accelerator to boot. Also all other screws , locking nuts, horns etc are included.
This is not for the stunt wars, but it will do a lot of them what it is is a real nice fun flying plane that will give you hours of enjoyment for $80.00 and it's a bargan at that price.
It also fast building to boot even a duffer can have it together in a short time because it's so prefabricated, Really great for you time challanged modellers.No I don't work for them but when something this good is out there everyone should know about it.
