1" Spinner???

I am asking here instead of the classifieds.
Does anyone know of any spinners made in 1" size? If so, who made them?
I have never been able to find one. (???)

Bill - one of our club members makes them from aluminum and I make them from carbon fiber/fiberglass. They're a bit labor-intensive and therefore a bit pricey.

Tatone,Froom and Veco made spinners in this size way back when. Is this just a curiousity question or are you looking for one? I'm not positive but I think I have a couple. Will go through the "goody box" to see if you need one.

Yes and no! LOL!!!!
The smallest ones I have ever seen from Veco/Froom were 1 1/8th, but I had *thought* they made a 1".
I need one for the Little Legend USA-1. Needle or regular.

Looks like Currel has the answer for both you and Bill. I did check the box and have two of them but no backplates. I'll help if I can but I think the NOS would solve the problem.

If you can stand the idea, the C*x plastics come with a snap-on, very light spinner.

You'll probably use a NorVel??? The C*x prop "nut" for these is tapped 5-40 USF so is too small for the NorVel prop bolt to fit through. You can drill and then ream the C*x barrel-nut to J U S T clear the NorV prop bolt.

Strangely enough, these plastic ARF spinners don't seem to vibrate!

Smallest may be about 1.125" D, is that close enough?

Danny Banjock has made some. Northern Virginia Hobby sells them (look for their add in Stunt News)

Sorry, I have been asleep at the keyboard here.

Tony Naccarato bought a huge bunch of the ACE 1" spinners some time ago. You can get ahold of him at [email protected] or by phone at 818-842-5062. His shop is open on Tues - Sat.

Those were fairly blunt, but very light spinners molded in Nylon.
