Kenn Smith

Does anyone know what happened to Kenn Smith of Smith fuel tanks manufacturing? I have seen reference somewhere that he was ill.

Kenn felt he had to shut down his various model businesses from about 3 or 4 years ago, to concentrate his energy on winning his fight with cancer. Within the past month, I found auction items he was selling on eBay, won the auction, exchanged reminiscences, and learned that the cancer is in remission at least, and he has a full time job again.

I too had the oportunity to meet Kenn Smith through an Ebay auction. I found his emails to be friendly and helpful and I purchased some of his tanks which are quality in their construction. I did not know of any health problems but I wish him well. We need people like him in our hobby.
