What prop - VECO 19 ?

I have a VECO 19 I thought I would put on an ARF Flight Streak. What prop would be a good choice? What RPM does this engine like to operate at? Thanks for considering this amateur question.

I suspect a 9 x 5 APC would do fine.

10-4, or 9-4, run in a 2-stroke.

What size venturi/NVA would be what I need for the R/C 19? I have a fresh one.15% nitro& 25% castor? thanks Scott PS I dont make hyflo mufflers fof this one:7

If it is the BB later version, I agree with Brett. I found mine likes an old Top Flite 9-4,. Sig 10% nitro. Would probably like the APC 9-4, I need to get a couple of those.

I converted a Veco .19 and used the needle valve assembly that was in the carb. Apparently they used common parts for RC and CL. Perhaps other versions used a different carb.
For a venturi I fashioned one from a nylon electrical spacer (3/8" OD, 1/4" ID I think). This was a few years ago so I could be wrong.
I would suggest getting a venturi from our host. You may also be able to get them from K&B.

I just measured my stock one. Approx. .210-.215 venturi, .155 NVA
Don't have the *best* caliper in the world, only goes to .01!
