Leo will not make it the NW regionals. He is scheduled to have heart surgery on Friday. Doctors will do a by-pass or two. I went flying this weekend and he seems to be fine. He's in good hands. GET WELL

Sorry to hear Leo is feeling poorly. My Dad just had a 4 by-pass and they replaced a heart valve. He isn't doing well at the moment, but the docs say in 6 months, he'll feel like a new man. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Leo is a tough ol' buzzard, he'll do fine. Give him my regards, and tell him we'll miss him until he's back flying. Also best wishes to the Sr. Powell. Steve

Breaking news from Chris Gomez, NW Skyraiders President (and pull tester/pit boss for the stunt events at last year's NW CL Regionals): Ron Canaan, an occasional poster here on SSW, had a mild heart attack Wednesday afternoon and will get the Roto-Rooter treatment Thursday AM, home Friday if he's a good boy. Hopefully, he will start working on those Larry Richards kits during his rehab. Steve

Leo had a tripple by-pass. He had two ruff days afterwards.
He now is home and sounds like his OLD self....

Hope Ron feels better. Angioplasty is no picnic, but not as bad has having your chest cracked open.

Thanks for the thought. Sr. Powell is too onery an old bird to die...at least not from this. He's feeling well enough to gripe at me, so he'll likely be fine. Heck, he's almost as old as Leo...
