Difficulty displaying latest posting

Hello

I must be doin' sumem rong! When I open the site I can see that there are postings for todays date on the item list but I cant disply them.

I start at about 10 days late and cant see the latest.

Replying to my own posting: I have gone back and can see my posting and now I can see the latest postings. The first time I come back I cant see the latest postings, so my questions still stands.

Sounds to me like your browser is not looking at the site for the latest version every time you check the site. The browser keeps copies of pages and art in a local cache and there is a setting for how often that is updated.

I'd start by reviewing the browser settings.

As Cy says, it is keeping a copy in the cache and displaying the cache copy rather than updating. Whenever you bring up the site, since it changes so often, you might simply need to hit the refresh button on the browser.

I've seen this more often when at home and using a dial-up connection. In the past, sometimes refreshing didn't work, and it took 10-20 minutes before updates showed up. Haven't seen this happen in a long while, though.

Supposedly, some of the large service providers cache web content, and there's some latency there, too. They have to do this due to the large distances involved.
