Cox Formula One

Does anybody know if this was ever a production model. If from the estate of Bill Osborne. I remember when Bill was testing this mode from Cox a few years ago. He mentioned that he was working with them to develop a RTF to be used for Mouse Racing for the kids.

Member from our club, including myself have never seen this in production. I would like to know a little more information about this model before I put it on eBay.

I'm not sure if it had the same name but Cox/Este made it. I flew one with a buddy just last summer and it was new. I think they called it a EZ Flyer or something.

The model is a production C*x model. Phillippe desLespinay designed it, I made a few corrections to get it to fly right. Very nice potential racer, though at the Nats one year, we had a come-one-come-all mouse race using the P-39 instead. Makes a great event, by the way. Bill Wisniewski's (hope I spelled that right!) boy won it, as I recall.

I'm holed up in Taft right now, but this weekend I'll be home in Long Beach. I had a book once that showed a picture of this plane and told its name. I think they called it a Manta. I look this weekend. I had one once but sold it at MECA years ago.
Any more activity with the Musciano event?
