Well guys it official now, I have recieved the sanction for our August meet. Mark your calenders for August 16 & 17.

Saturday: OTS and Classic
Sunday: PAMPA Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert (come on out you experts, that's the only event we were shy in).

Please Email me for directions to the field. We will meet somewhere Saturday night for a group dinner and some laughs!!

Got you penciled in Randy but we have a club event that weekend and I'm the Prez this year. Wouldnt look good for me to bail out for greener northern pastures.

Bring 'em all up here John!!

Does anyone know if this date conflicts with FCM in Muncie?

Its a AA meet which draws to a 300 mile radius, for what thats worth there should be no problem. I think the FCM meet is the weekend before, but I'm not sure.

Hi Capt Kurt, The FCM meet is in fact the weekend before The Michigan Stunt Champs. I have been running my Fly IN for the past 10 years on these dates(FCM) and now several of my regulars will be in Muncie instead of here where they belong! Its a shame that all of our events have to be crammed into such a short period of time. By the way will you be coming to PA this weekend July 20th? By the sounds of things we will be having quite a nice turn out for our first Stunt Contest! If in fact we do I am sure we will have a similar set up to Michigan and Cleveland next year with tow events on Saturday and the PAMPA classes on Sunday.

I am sure that we will be there in full force.

You guys can take your shoes off this year if you promise the wash your feet BEFORE arriving on the field!

Hi Randy, I relied on your unofficial confirmation and went ahead and got a room for Pat Rowan and me. We'll be arriving at the Comfort Inn in Romeilus(sp?) on Friday afternoon.

Hey Phil why not stay home and let someone else win it this time? Ha only kidding. We are on our way over there to kick some butts. See you Saturday or Sunday.

Hi Jay, I am delighted to hear that you and friends will be coming over this weekend. The field is in great shape and the line up of events should make for a fine weekend of flying. If you are out at the field at dusk you just might see a deer or two! They move to a stream to drink not too far a field! We've also been visited by wild turkey, fox, Canadian Geese, and once a ring neck phesant! I am not the one to be warry of this year its Pat Rowan who took three of John and Buzz Brodak's trophies this year! He's been booted! I may have to back off on the coaching thing perminanently!

Thanks Allen, we'd sure be glad to have you there. I'm so busy now I don't think I'll make it down, I haven't flown once this year.

Two Weeks to go

At least a couple of us are planning to come down to FCM again...what an excellent event!

Yes! The FCM meet is one of the best Pizza, Go-carts, and a T shirt you can't beat that. Now if I can get the fast cart I can get everyone to stop passing me. especilly Mat Neuman! Ha.
