I posted a question about fitting cowls and hatches and such and it disappeared. I didn't think it was offensive. Maybe the crack about "Mater Builders"

So?

I think the software went kaflooey all of a sudden! I started getting OLD threads mixed in with new stuff, late yesterday evening.

Try different "View" settings for the index. (Kiwi on Jun 5, 2001)#2 source
The only odd thing I started seeing there beginning last evening (about 8 pm CDT), was a lot of "O.O" ratings for threads that haven't gotten any votes of any kind yet, and some large (probably unwarranted) jumps in the counts of how many people have read some recent threads.

I prefer a view of the index in date order, in which only the first sentence of the original message appears to help identify the thread. It loads faster that way than some of the other potential ways that the index can be set to look.

About once a month, SSW undergoes a period in which the server slows down more and more until it practically stops, and then suddenly it's OK again, and not all of the users are seeing that much of a slowdown. So if I could speed up the load of the index the first time, it helped, especially when that "slow day" comes along!

Randy --

I think Jake and Kiwi are right. I had a different problem, but we definitely had a blip. Don't take it personally.

So how 'bout them hatches? Wanna re-post?
