Well, Brad, when the forum went down a couple of weeks ago due to a (deliberate) overloading of the e-mail by another user of the server (which the hosting company has assured me will never happen again. We are on the same server with their own business site) it apparently took out a few of the user accounts. A couple of others have e-mailed me to that effect and I restored them. I will need your e-mail (send me an e-mail with the request. You might as well suggest a password if you want) and I will restore the account for you.

I fixed Brad, but as an addendum, if anyone else is experiencing problems, send me an e-mail and we will get you fixed up.

The next version of the forum will have require registration in order to post. This is a warning. Get your registratons fixed and get logged in. I am sorry to do this, but we keep having the "fly-by-nights" who post making attacks with no name attached. I am getting tired of using the delete button.

On yes, I have also added a forum to the next version for those who are experiencing problems. This will be the only forum that will not require registration. I figure this will give an area for people to check to see if others have experienced the same problem and perhaps enable us to teach each other how to use the various features beyond what is mentioned in the FAQs.

Posts that you would delete from an unregistered user will now remain if it is posted by a registered user? I think that is a fair deal.

I think you are missing the point, and I don't care to debate the issue (translated, "I won't"). It is not the fact that you are posting as if you are unregistered, but you apparently don't want anyone to know who you are. You also could use my name or anyonoe else's if you are posting as unregistered and make any kind of unfair accusations in another person's name.

But registered or not, if you make unwarranted personal attacks, then I will delete the post. And if someone abuses the forum and registration is required, I have the ability to lock them out.

Thanks for explaining your position. I have not seen any posts that I would classify as unwarranted personal attacks. But maybe I have a higher threshold for constructive criticism. Or you pushed the deleat button before I had a chance to read them.
