TCI Fox 35 ABC

I had this in the ARF Nobler thread, and decided to move it out on its own...

I just scored an ABC Fox 35 custom job (stuffer backplate, angle hemi head etc), new never run. It was originally bought it a while back from the old TCI Hobbies, the people that would powder coat/color any engine for you.

Does anyone have feedback on these Foxes??? Who did the re-work on these? Any reccomendations before use? Break in on all castor on the stand, the run the same fuel as my OS FP's I would think, 50/50 Castor/Synth, in the airplane?

I would think it would be a great little engine for the Nobler and keep things light without tail ballast.

I've got two of these and they both run great. Andy Nehring is the one that did the mod to them. Break it in like any other ABC engine.
There is little to no vibration with mine and they seem to have just a little more muscle than a stock Fox 35.

If I wasn't going to use my Brodak 40 I'd use one of these in my ARF Nobler.
