just wanted to share with you guys the exciting news that after over a year of building from scratch, and to a standard I've never attempted before, my Flite Streak finally took to the air today. Better still it landed in one piece!
I used the LEO 28 stunt for the moment until I get familiar with the model, then I'll switch to the Fox 35.
It flew pretty well, a little sluggish due to huge throw on the controls and using the furthest out elevator horn hole, but that's probably a good thing at the moment.
I took some photos before I sent it skywards, just in case, so I'll post them up when I get them developed. I'm rather proud of my efforts. 
It's so nice (and not a little scary) to be flying a pristeen model rather than one that I've just glued the nose back on again for the 8th time.
