Lonestar web site?

I haven't bee able to get to Lonestar's website for two days. Is there a new address?

http://www.lonestar-models.com still works for me. I haven't been able to open the NW Skyraider's website for a week, and I'm trying to get info on their Stunt Clinic & Judging Clinic on July 19 & 20. Need to find out how to get to the flying site, etc.

It seems their site is down I know a few guys(myself included) wondering were it has gone.

The website is down due to our host moving to a new residence. His priority doesn't seem to be getting our particular computer back online. He had something like 60 old 286/486 'puters in racks in his basement when I went to get the "keys" to our website and a half hour of instructions of how to work it.

The Wright Brothers Centennial Stunt Clinic/Judging Clinic & Contest will be at the Arlington Airport site. This is NOT on Arlington Airport proper, but is across the street, west of the runway. Off I-5, take the #206 exit, aka "Smokey Point" exit, and head East. About a mile, turn left at the light. The corner is 172nd St. and 51st Ave. You won't have to guess which corner we're on.

The grass field is huge and flat. We will have 3 circles mowed and marked out with safety cones (if everybody brings their cones). Plan on dinner Saturday night at the Buzz Inn at 5pm, I have reserved their whole upper area, and will confirm that Thursday and again Saturday morning. The 5pm dinner will give options to head back to the field for more flying, or heading up to Skagit Speedway for the Sprint Car races (tether cars at 1:1 scale!) or head for home and a good night's sleep. There's also a new Casino a few miles further south, looks fantastic from the freeway. The City of Arlington is to the North, and Marysville is to the South. It is almost a 55 minute drive from my place in Renton, so it should be roughly 3.5 hrs from Portland, 1.5 hrs. from Vanc. BC, plus border crossing delay.

Saturday will be devoted to trimming and coaching. Sunday will be the 4 PAMPA skill classes AND a Judging Clinic run by Don McClave. All hands will be expected to fly as well as do their chores. Entry fee is $10.

Dave Gardner created a very cool contest flyer and an Award Certificate with the photo of the Wright Bros 1st flight as the background (my idea and prodding). Unfortunately, it's 89kb and a Word Document, and I don't know how to compress it and post it here.
If you know how, please hep me figger it out.

I am requesting no engine running before 8am, and please park to the East side of the flying circle (so as not to create turbulence). If you intend to participate in the Judging Clinic, please bring a pen or two and a clipboard if you have one, stopwatch too. A Judging Clinic WILL help your flying, and would also make you a better coach.

If this thing is going to work, everybody is going to have to pitch in and help with pitting, coaching, trimming, etc. My plan is to have the judges work two circles on Sunday, with the third circle for practise/trimming. That way, the Judges (and Clinic) can debrief the pilot after his flight, while the next competitor gets ready in the other circle. Saturday, we will use all three circles for trimming and coaching.
