Steve, I realized that by sending a private message to answer this post, that others who might want to know wouldn't get the answer, so here goes.
You can get the plans from the designer, Jim Tichey. He's in the PAMPA directory. Or, you could wait until I finish the CAD plans, or better yet, for many, wait until Walter Umland releases the kit. Presumably after I get the plans finished.
I'm wondering why everything is spinning around?

I know you didn't but it's ok for the guys to know now, besides it was actually let out a while ago.
anyway I spoke with Jim Tichy again over the weekend and He is sending me what is needed to get this baby on it's way 
And yes John will be doing the plans for the Colossus,
Now if I may say? if these come out anything like an I-beamer set he showed me then the plans alone will be worth the price of several kits. 
One thing guys this will not be ready for a while
gotta get some building done first and then the current and other kits need to be attended to.

Good question Randy.
I have in my hands a set of the original hand drawn plans from the designer, Jim Tichey. I'm awaiting some additional info from Jim through Walter. One thing to note, Jim T. is concerned about the notes for construction. Because of the complex shapes on the fuse, Jim strongly suggests framing up the fuse first. Tack gluing the top and bottom blocks into place. Do the, almost, final shaping to the fuse, then pop off the blocks, insert the spar, and jig up the wings.
The plane is large enough, and the fuse shape is complex enough, that shaping the blocks, with the wing built, is a difficult task.
There are some additional items as well, but I will be able to start on the plans as soon as the two designs already "on the boards" are completed.
I am taking the plans in to the local drafting supply store for a full size scan so I can make sure the shapes are correct.
So I'd say it'll be a few months yet, but, should be ready for the new building season. At least, that's my goal.
