A couple 3.25 GRW chicken-hopper tanks came in from SIG yesterday. They fit the ARF Flite Streak with lots of room to spare, at least with a 25FP installed. And typically these tanks work pretty well on profile models.
Whoever makes these tanks now does a pretty good job. But I did have a very small pin-hole leak in one of them. As in I had to put lots of pressure to the tank and even at that the offending bubbles were really small. But as the leak was at the juncture between big and little tanks it could easily have caused problems.
Interestingly enough, last night I noticed that my very last Slow Combat plane, left over from the '89 Nats, not flown since, had a good 4-ounce GRW chicken-hopper tank on it. It will just barely fit, might want to check your stash of old stuff or ask a retired Combat guy if you can have his old tanks.
