Veco Spinner Clones??

I'm looking for a 1.75" Veco style spinner. I've got a couple of needle nose clones purchased from Randy Smith a few years back, but am now seeking the other shorter traditional style like you see on the green box Nobler plan. Does anyone currently produce these?

I suppose I'd even accept an original Veco or Froom, but these are quite rare, of course.

Can't edit my own message . . . but here's an idea:

I have an original, uncut cast 1.75" Veco needle nose spinner, no box. I will trade this for a 1.75" Veco or Froom, cast or spun parabolic shape spinner in similar uncut condition. Parabolic, that's what they called the regular ones, right?)

Any takers??

No, they just called them "standard" or conventional style. The standards below 2" are indeed tough to find- I have a NIB 1-3/4" spun Veco, but it isn't for sale or trade- it's going on a Still Stuka along with an equally ancient Fox .29 Stunt.

I have two brand new 1-3/4 inch veco regular uncut spinners - still in box. I will trade one of these for one of your 1-3/4 inch needle nose. E-mail is [email protected].

What you are looking for seem to be in plentiful supply. I just won one on ebay and it hasn't even arrived yet and there is at least one more there up for bids.

They can be found with regularity on %%-bay. I got mine for 20.00
and I was the only bidder. Look under veco.

Looks like you've got the problem solved, but Windy seems to have a fair stock of spinners, 2 & 3 bladers. He says that in the Fall, he'll have needle nose in 2.25" & 2.5", and that they will be made especially for him. I would expect all the usual sizes and both shapes will also be available. These are all "Veco Clones", no machine screw in the nose, all barstock. Steve
