Hi, Mugs.
I came onto one of these engines (new) a few years back. I test ran it and it seemed to be quite smooth but way down on power. I would guess equal to a good .19. As I recall, the piston/liner fit was marginal. Also, the backplate sealing was poor - even with a gasket, it leaked profusely. Took it home, put it back in the box and there it sits!

I guess that would explain the $1 starting price - and the lack of bids!
Keeping in mind what PT Barnum said, some collector will probably part with a few hard-earned bucks just to have it on the shelf. It seems like poor performance is not necessarily a deterrant to a buyer. Remember "slag" motors? I've heard that if you could get one to run, it was amemic at best! Yet, I've seen them go for high dollars. Go figure. (and watch the auction)

Those little motors sure like to honk around in the sky! Could be a still for 10 bucks or so!!! For the NVA its a good deal!
