Max-S .35 set up tips??

I have one of these destined for my ARF - ARF (let's hope it doesn't fly like a dog) Nobler. It's been a zillion years since I ran one of these . . . any tips on a good starting set-up?

Venturi?

How far to shim tank (1" high metal) off of mounts?

Prop?

Uniflow or Simple vent?

Pressure or no?

If you use the original OS needle or an ST type, use a .277 or .281 size venturi. If you use the current (FP type) OS needle, use a .257 or .261 venturi.

If possible, make it adjustable, but square on the mounts should be close.

10 x 6 BY&O. There are others, of course.

Always uniflow. If you use a uniflow, you can always leave the vent uncapped and go back to standard vent. It gives you a chance to verify that always uniflow is correct.

That's your choice. We ran them with pressure.

A million what?

Thanks for the help, Leonard. After I get the B40 broken in, I'll try that too. Also might try the TT42 - any idea when it might be done??
