CL Plans on the Web

Not having much luck with my search. I like to scratch build, where do you go to get model airplane plans on the web?

Here's one website: http://www.aeromaniacs.com/Freeplans.htm

It has some links to other sites that may be of interest for plans. What type of planes are you interested in? I've found a few control line plans out on the web but foolishly didn't bookmark the websites. Good luck with the hunt and if you do find some good plan sites, share them here. I'm sure others would be interested also.

There is an obscure website that has a great selection of plans available. I think it must be in Germany somewhere 'cause they call themselves the Stuka Stunt Works.

Barry Baxter is a frequent contributor to this forum and has the best selection of plans I have found. His website is:

you just may have hit the nail on the head, as our host here sells plans. Just send a shout to leonard and he should respond

Can we establish just what we are talking about here? Putting a list of plans that you sell on a website is not putting plans on the web is it?

The F/F people are far more outgoing and there are literally hundreds of F/F plans on the web.

I hope you don't try to use the Mo'Best plans in that form..

PAMPA Products carries the full sized set, much less trouble. BTW, they have all the published SN plans.

Sorry guys, it was never my intention that the plans should appear here, all I did was list the links. At least, they shouldn't cost Leonard bandwidth.

At this time, I don't know of anywhere that significant numbers of ELECTRONIC versions of plans for large CL planes might be stored for DOWNLOAD. Old plans are too large for privately owned scanners, and using CAD-type software is not particularly common as a CL-modeller skill set. You have the URL in another answer for Heman Lee's site; his half-A stuff is free.

Maybe some day one of us right here will set up a web site with a pay-for-files download arrangement to defray the cost to use the commercial size scanners to generate large scale plans' electronic files; AFAIK, however, no one is currently planning to do that.

I like that Coasby, with the "control plate" inside the wing.

Slap an O & R .60 on it, and you're good to go, as the plan suggests...
