Just another Sunday in the parking lot at Mission College in Northern Cali. The the experts took lessons from the "Advanced" guys! How nice are these airplanes?!!

Well,

I Can't see the face, but if that's Ted checking his leadout location in photo #6 I don't think he flys advanced. We could give him 20 years off - then maybe the CD's would let him fly advanced - probably for only one flight though!

The beautiful modified Trivial Pursuit looks like a slightly modified Genesis!! See, they all do look alike.

Phil is not exagerating one bit about Scotty's plane. The finish is unbelievable. Its a white pearl flake with a clear urathane top coat. He uses Blue Magic and Mothers Aluminum Polish to rub it out. I swear it looks like a mirror. Scott used to do custon paint work on motorcycles and he has applied his techniques to toy airplanes. I have been trying to talk him into writting a piece for Stunt News which I think would be very educational. I know I have stole a lot of Scotts ideas for myself. Larry, NorCal Circle Jerks.

Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures....they are surely inspirational. I too especially like Scott Urabe's creation. He's obviously quite a talent.

What is the blue and white plane that is at the head of the line in the first picture? Do you have a close-up of that one?

Larry....keep a little gentle pressure on Scott to write that article...we could certainly learn alot from Scott.

Warren, I'll jump into Phil's thread here. The Blue and White plane is Jim Aron's (affectionately known hereabouts as Uncle Jimby) Bugaloo and it might be the prettiest plane on the line...along with, I might add, PTG's own new Diva. Dangd'est finish I've ever seen on a combat plane!

Uncle Jimby is also know far and wide as Mr. Twenty Point Buns. This as a result of his Ringmaster (RINGMASTER!) receiving the maximum 20 appearance points when he entered it in Classic at a several years past VSC. This guy can build and paint!

Oh, the Buns part.... That same year at VSC Jimby was awarded the coveted Best Buns award from the girls at the tabulation table. Ah, the romance of the competitive stunt world!
