Bob Banka of Bob's Aircraft Documentation lists the Chilton DW-1A in his catalog of 3-views

Iain is schemeing a slightly enlarged version of Frank Beatty's DW-1A that was in A.M. for the next Brodak meet. The idea is to put the muffler inside the cowl and exhaust thru the scale outlets. There were only 4 or 5 of the full size versions built as I recall. They originally had a French built Train 44 hp. inline 4 cylinder aircooled motor. It is a VERY pretty little airplane- much like the Miles Sparrowhawk.
