Steve Buso's designs

Can someone point me to photos of Steve Buso's designs. I saw one of his designs at the recent contest and would like to see more of his work.

That's why I am looking for photo's. I want to have an idea which plane is which before I give Randy a call. I have a number of items to discuss with him so I want to get my homework done before calling.

One of them, the Vegas can be found in an old Stunt News circa about 1998-9 or thereabouts. I don't know which month though, also the Kestral is one of his designs. Noel Drindak flys that design pretty exclusively. I don't know about the rest of them.

Steven. there is a three view of Steve's Hercules for 60 power in past issues of Stunt News. It looks awesome to me. If you are interested in that size of aircraft, I can dig up & scan the drawing for U.

Randy Powell loaned me a set of plans for the Vegas. Really cool jet like 40 pipe ship. Has 546 square inches. 53 in raked and tapered wingspan, inverted engine wing mounted landing gear with pants. I plan to build it for next season.

Steve's plans are simply spectacular! Very detailed and accurate. Buy a couple of sets.....you'll like to gaze at them!

John Thompson has been flying a Buso "Litewave", which is for an FP .40 with muffler instead of pipe (Vegas). Both are very good looking models. I have a Vegas picture attached, but not sure who it belongs to. It's one of my favorites, available from Capt. Curt/PAMPA Services. I think most of Buso's designs use a foam core wing, which you may or may not like, and dunno if ribs are shown or not. I have also attached a photo of a modified Buso "Super Kestral" built by Gerald Schamp and purchased by myself at the NW CL Regionals in May. I think it is modified enough to be renamed. As the powerplant is a Saito .80 (!), I have selected the name "TITAN". It's the one in bare wood, sitting on the deck that I designed and built instead of stunters. John Duncan makes foam cores for Buso designs, and they are very nice (see Windy's website for the link). Steve

If you look carefully at the one still in balsa, it looks like a smoothed over Nobler!!

The Vegas you show in the lower photo belongs to David Heinzman out of Cleveland, Ohio.
