Very pretty, perhaps close to the ultimate profile. If powered by a 40(or .46 if rules permitted)what opinions are there as to this designs legality for the P 40 event as flown in various parts of the country?

The only restriction in P40 events is a max engine size of .40.. Shouldn't be any problem. We in Dallas tried to stretch it to .46, but I don't think this will stick. So.. any airplane with a max .40 and you are in!

Depends, some places restrict P40 to side-mount engines, or so I hear.
BTW, this airplane and a 40VF is probably more potent than 99% of the full-fuse airplanes you could come up with.
